Raissa Recommends - Hector Coris, I'm on YouTube and Benefits Galore!
Go see Hector Coris in his first solo show, LIFE IS WONDERFUL - you've got two more chances: 5/9 at 5 pm and 5/19 at 7:15 pm at Don't Tell Mama - 212-787-0788. JUST GO! I can't say enough good things about this show, so JUST GO! Well, I have to at least say, Hector's voice is beautiful and his acting, sublime. GO!
There is so much to see this week and so little time...can't do it all, but I'm pleased to recommend David Pellegrine/Beth Sacks at the Metropolitan Room this Thursday, 5/7 at 7 pm, in their show, MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, although I have it on good authority that they won't be actually singing that song - but there will be beautiful music in the night! I would love to be there, but I"ll be at Don't Tell Mama for Seth's Broadway Chatterbox @ 6, and then I already have reservations at Mama's at 7:30 for FRESH BREWED - TALES FROM THE COFFEE BAR starring Tanya Moberly and then right after that, I'm heading off to the Metropolitan Room to see Shayee Rainbolt in her CHARMED LIFE show at 9:45 pm. If you can't go see her, pick up her wonderful CD of the same name - it's in my CD player all the time! Friday, I'll sleep!
I'm very excited to be nominated for a MAC Award for Best Female Vocalist - you can catch clips of me now on YouTube to see some of my work, and also,
